We have come here many times, but I finally decided to leave them a review. Their soft serve is special because it is creamy and has the best texture. I absolutely love the ube soft serve. No seating area, but we don’t mind.

I stopped by SomiSomi and it ended up being one of the best dessert stops I’ve had in a long time. The place itself is super clean and in a great location if you’re already out walking around the area. There’s a really cute seating area outside, which makes it perfect for grabbing dessert after dinner and just hanging out for a bit. Definitely a great little date-night spot. I ordered the Upside Down Ahboong with cookies & cream and vanilla swirl, plus a Nutella taiyaki and an Oreo taiyaki. Everything was amazing. The taiyaki were served warm and fresh, and the contrast with the cold soft serve was perfect. You can tell they really care about presentation too — it looked as good as it tasted. I also love that they rotate their swirl flavors weekly, so there’s always something new to try. What really stood out though was the service. Hien prepared my order and did an incredible job. She was welcoming, patient, and very professional while still being genuinely friendly. Even while staying busy, she made sure everything was made carefully and looked perfect before handing it over. My go-to ice cream shop! All the staff are amazing & all the ice cream flavors, fillings, taiyaki everything is so good! It was my first time trying the strawberry matcha milk & it was sooo good too! Highly recommend if you like matcha! Overall 10/10 establishment.

This place deserves every single one of these 5 stars and more. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is perfect: super cute Korean-inspired décor, Instagram-worthy walls, and that incredible smell of fresh-baked taiyaki fish waffles being made right in front of you. It’s not just an ice cream shop; it’s a total hangout spot for friends, dates, or even solo treat runs. The Ah-Boong (taiyaki + soft serve) is life-changing. I got the Cookies and cream + a filled red bean taiyaki, topped with Fruity Pebbles, mochi, and their signature caramelized crunch. Every bite is the perfect mix of warm, crispy waffle and cold, creamy soft serve. Service is always fast and friendly even when the line is out the door (which it usually is on weekends). Two starts only because my friend said that ice cream there was okay. I was disappointed because payed $10 for box where only one fish with sesame was not from raw dough. Three fishes were with cream that fell out through holes because the dough was thin and raw. You can think that it's just me picky, but two my other friends said the same. I thought about giving it a chance, but the filling didn't evoke positive emotions either. The sasame tasted like coffee grounds, the matcha cream tasted like an unsweetened, slightly tart flavor, and the custard tasted almost like nothing because for me there was no taste of dairy or sweetness.
